Before using Allegra or fexofenadine, it is important to inform your doctor if you have kidney disease or if you have any drug allergies.

Allegra belongs to the FDA pregnancy category C, which means it is not known if Allegra could be harmful to an unborn baby nor if it could be harmful to a nursing baby. There are also some drugs and medications which can affect Allegra such a ketaconazole and erythromycin. If your symptoms are not improving or if they are getting worse after taking Allegra, inform your doctor right away. Similar to other medications, never take more than the dosage that has been prescribed by your doctor.
